ஆருத்ரா தரிசனம்

 

1. திருவாதிரை நோன்பு (விரதம்) என்பது திருவாதிரை நட்சத்திரத்தோடு கூடிய நிறைமதி நாளில் உபவாசம் இருந்து நோற்கும் ஒரு நோன்பாகும்.

 2. சிவனுக்குரிய நட்சத்திரம் திருவாதிரை ஆகும். மார்கழி மாதம் திருவாதிரை நாளன்று நடராசருக்குச் சிறப்புகள் நடைபெறும். 

3.தாருகா வனத்து முனிவர்கள் சிவபெருமானை நிந்தித்து ஒரு பெருவேள்வி நடத்தினர். சிவனார் பிச்சாடனர் வேடமேற்று பிச்சை எடுக்க முனிவர்களின் இல்லங்களுக்குச் சென்றார். முனிபத்தினிகள் தம்மை மறந்து பிச்சாடனராகிய சிவபெருமான் பின்னே செல்லலாயினார். இதனால் வெகுண்ட முனிவர்கள் வேள்வித்தீயில் மத யானை, முயலகன், உடுக்கை, மான், தீப்பிழம்பு என்பவற்றைத் தோற்றுவித்து சிவன்பால் ஏவினர். சிவனார் மதயானையைக் கொன்று, அதன் தோலை அணிந்தார். மற்றவைகளைத் தானே தரித்துக் கொண்டு முயலகன் மீது வலது காலை ஊன்றி இடது காலைத் தூக்கி நடனமாடி, முனிவர்களுக்கு உண்மையை உணர்த்தினார். இதுவே ஆருத்திரா தரிசனம் என்று சொல்லப்படுகின்றது.

4. சேந்தனார் ஓர் விறகுவெட்டி. அவர் சிதம்பரம் அருகேயுள்ள ஓர் ஊரில் வாழ்ந்து வந்தார். அவர் சிறந்த சிவபக்தர். தினமும் ஒரு சிவனடியாருக்கு உணவளித்துப் பின் தான் உண்டு உணவருந்துவார்.
ஒரு நாள் அதிகமாக மழைபெய்து விறகுகள் ஈரமாயின அதனால் அன்று அவரால் விறகு விற்க முடியவில்லை. அதனால் அரிசி வாங்க காசு அவரிடம் இல்லை. எனவே அன்று கேள்வரகில் களி செய்து சிவனடியாரை எதிர்பார்த்திருந்தார். ஆனால் யாரும் தென்படவில்லை. மனம் நொந்த சேந்தனாரின் பக்தியை உலகிற்கு உணர்த்த விரும்பி நடராஜப் பெருமான் ஓர் சிவனடியார் வேடத்தில் சேந்தனார் இல்லம் ஏகினார். சேந்தனார் அகமகிழ்ந்து களியை சிவனடியாருக்குப் படைத்தார். சிவனடியார் களியை மிக விருப்பமுடன் உண்டதுமல்லாமல் எஞ்சியிருந்த களியையும் தனது அடுத்த வேளை உணவிற்குத் தருமாறு வாங்கிச் சென்றார்.
மறுநாள் காலையில் வழக்கம் போல் திலைவாழ் அந்தணர்கள் சிதம்பரம் கோயில் கருவறையைத் திறந்தனர். என்ன அதிசயம்; நடராஜப் பெருமனைச் சுற்றி எங்கும் களிச் சிதறல்கள். உடனே அரசருக்கு அறிவித்தார்கள். அரசர் அன்று இரவு தான் கண்ட கனவை எண்ணினார். கனவில் நடராஜப் பெருமான் தான் களியுண்ணச் சென்றதைத் தெரிவித்து இருந்தார். அதன்படி சேந்தனாரைக் கண்டு பிடிக்கும்படி அமைச்சருக்கு ஆணையிட்டார். ஆனால் அவரோ அன்று சிதம்பரம் நடராஜப் பெருமானின் தேர்த்திருவிழா நடந்துகொண்டிருந்தது. அதற்குச் சேந்தனாரும் வந்திருந்தார்.
எம்பெருமானைத் தேரில் அமர்த்திய பின், அரசர் உட்பட எல்லோரும் தேரை வடம்பிடித்து இழுத்தார்கள். மழைகாரணமாக சேற்றில் தேர் அழுந்திச் சிறிதும் அசையாது நின்றது. அரசர் மிகவும் மனவருந்தினார். அப்போது அசரீரியாக "சேந்தா நீ பல்லாண்டு பாடு" என்று கேட்டது. சேந்தானாரோ ஒன்றும் அறியாத யான் எப்படிப் பாடுவேன் என்று நடராஜப் பெருமானைத் துதித்தார். எம்பெருமானும் அதற்கு அருள் புரிந்தார்.
சேந்தனார் இறைவன் அருளால் "மன்னுகதில்லை வளர்க நம்பக்தர்கள் வஞ்சகர் போயகல" என்று தொடங்கி "பல்லாண்டு கூறுதுமே" என்று முடித்துப் பதின்மூன்று பாடல்கள் இறைவனை வாழ்த்திப் பாடினார். உடனே தேர் நகர்ந்தது. சேந்தனாரின் கால்களில் அரசரும், அந்தணர்களும், சிவனடியார்களும் வீழ்ந்து வணங்கினார்கள். அரசர் தாம் கண்ட கனவைச் சேந்தனாருக்குத் தெரிவித்தார். சேந்தனார் அவர் வீட்டிற்குக் களியுண்ண நடராஜப் பெருமானே வந்தார் என்றதை அறிந்து மனமுருகினார். அன்றைய தினம் திருவாதிரை நாள் என்றும், இன்றும் ஆதிரை நாளில் நடராஜப் பெருமானிற்குக் களிபடைக்கபடுவதாகச் சொல்லப்படுகின்றது.

5.திருவாதிரை நாளில் உளுந்து மாவினால் செய்த களி நெய்வேத்தியமாகப் படைக்கப்பட்டு, அனைவருக்கும் வழங்கப்படுகிறது. 'திருவாதிரைக்கு ஒரு வாய்க்களி ' என இதனை தென் தமிழகத்தின் சொலவடையில் பதிவு செய்துள்ளனர்.

மகத்துவம் நிறைந்த மார்கழி

    

 1.மாதங்களில் மார்கழி அழகு. பகவான் கிருஷ்ணன் ‘மாதங்களில் நான் மார்கழி’ என்று கூறியுள்ளார். 
        அப்படியானால் அதன் புனிதமும், அழகும் வார்த்தைகளால் வர்ணிக்க இயலாத ஒன்று.

2.மார்கழி மாதத்தை  சைவர்கள் தேவர் மாதம் என்று குறிப்பிடுவர். அதாவது கடவுளை வழிபடும் மாதமாகும்.

3.சைவர்கள் வீதி தோறும் திருவெம்பாவை,

திருப்பள்ளியெழுச்சி பாடல்களைப் பாடுவர்.

4. வைணவர்கள் மார்கழி மாதம் முழுவதும் திருப்பாவை பாடுவர்.

                                                    
5.சூரியனின் இயக்கம் அயனம் எனப்படும். சூரியன் தெற்கு நோக்கி இயங்குவது தட்சிணாயனம். வடக்கு நோக்கி இயங்குவது உத்தராயனம். இவை இரண்டில் உத்தராயனம் உயர்ந்தது என்பர்.தட்சிணாயனத்தின் கடைசி மாதம் மார்கழி. மேலும் உத்தராயனத் தொடக்கப் புனித நாள் டிசம்பர் 21. இத்திருநாள் மார்கழியின் ஒருநாள்.

6. மார்கழி மாதம் பக்திக்கு உரிய மாதம், பணிவாக இறைவனை அடையக் கூடிய மாதம், வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசி, ஆருத்ரா தரிசனம் போன்ற மிக அருமையான இறைவனின் அருளைப் பெறக் கூடிய கொண்டாட வேண்டிய மாதம் இந்த மார்கழி மாதம்.

இதன் காரணமாக மார்கழி மாதத்தில் தினமும் காலை நீராடி, வீட்டில் இறைவனை வணங்கி விட்டு, அருக்கில் உள்ள திருமால் அல்லது சிவன் கோயிலுக்குச் சென்று வணங்கி வருவது மிகச்சிறந்த இறை அருளை பெறலாம்.
